Information

Founded in 1980, the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. With the exception of our full-time Office Liaison, the BACP is operated entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to provide quality theatrical entertainment to the community and to offer performance opportunities for its citizens.

We are the resident theatre at The Main Place, a facility in downtown Broken Arrow at 1800 S. Main Street. The Main Place is owned and operated by The City of Broken Arrow Parks and Recreation Department. The auditorium seats 285.

Our Mission
The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse, a community spirited, educational, and artistic enterprise, organized for the purpose of producing dramatic events and encouraging the growth and practice of theatrical talents, welcomes the participation of any and all persons who subscribe to and support the following mission: "To provide a quality theatrical experience for the community, to encourage and develop new and existing talent in all phases of theatrical management and production, to serve and represent the Broken Arrow community responsibly and with pride through all of its theatrical activities."

Are there age restrictions for children?
There is no age restriction for children attending productions at the BACP. However, as a courtesy to other patrons and the performers, the BACP discourages attendance by children under the age of five (unless the production is specifically intended for young children). All patrons must have a ticket, and in all instances babes in arms are not permitted. Any person who disturbs the performance or other patrons will be asked to leave the theatre without a refund issued. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child's age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performances.
