CLEAN SWEEP - Comedy Open Mic Night!

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse invites you, your family and your friends to the first of what is planned to become a regular comedy “Open Mic Night,” Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. on the BACP stage.

 

BACP's Clean Sweep is a night of clean family-friendly comedy featuring four local comics and some talented audience members. Any audience member may sign in and “walk up” to the mic tryout their own “clean stand-up” material. Interested audience participants will have between two and six minutes to offer up their family-friendly routine.

 

The event is free, however, a suggested donation of $10 at the door would help the BACP defray costs for the event! Bring Tips to encourage the comics!

 

Judges will be on-hand selecting the night's funniest comic, and award that comic with everything in the tip jar! Audience laughter and applause will be considered by the judges when making their choices.

 

Scheduled comedians include the multifaceted indigenous entertainer, Sondra Slade, Travis Humphrey, Miranda Chase and Shawna Blake. Miranda is well known at the Main Street Tavern, she and Shawna both appeared at last year’s comedy event hosted by the Vintage Barbie Museum featuring a host of female comedians.

 

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is located at 1800 S. Main Street.
