ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Annual Membership meeting for the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday May 13, 2025 at the Playhouse 1800 S. Main St. Broken Arrow, Ok. This meeting is open to all members of the BACP family. Membership includes:

A.    Volunteers - anyone who contributes volunteer hours, services or supplies for at least one production in a season.

B.    Subscribers - any person or group who holds a current season subscription.

C.   Board Members - any voting member, duly elected or appointed pursuant to these Bylaws.

D.    Trustees - any individuals who the Board of Directors believes is interested in the welfare of the playhouse and can be of value to the Playhouse by serving in such capacity.

 

Business to be covered at the meeting includes annual reports from the President, Office Manager and other Committee chairs, approval of the budget for the 2025-2026 season, election of Board Members and list of proposed officers for the 2025-2026 season with open nominations from the floor. There are two proposed changes to the Bylaws.

 

Section 4. BOARD MEMBERSHIP:

The Board of Directors shall consist of not less than seven (7) members. The Board of Directors shall be made up of a five-member Executive Committee with the remaining members designated as, “Members-at-Large."

Section 5. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:

The Executive Committee shall be made up of the officers of the Board of Directors. These are: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Production Manager.

Rationale The Production Manager's office was added to the Executive Committee so that additional check signatories who lived close to the Playhouse could be included. This is no longer necessary for the current Board of Directors.
